Janet trained at Bath Academy of Art studying sculpture and etching. She then travelled extensively in Europe and the Middle East before a successful teaching career. During a break from teaching Janet started to paint seriously and quickly became inspired by the freedom and pure colours of watercolour painting.

She has now been painting full-time for more than 20 years and recently moved to live and work in Cornwall. Janet’s style is characterised by light, colour and movement.
