Susie Perring
Attending the London College of Printing in the ’60s, Susie went on to a successful career in graphic design before becoming a professional artist in 1984. As a leading proponent of aquatint etching, she has developed a distinctive and highly recognisable style, using multiple plates in a painstaking process to create richly coloured and complex images. Her silkscreen monoprints are also very popular. Her work has featured in several Royal Academy Exhibitions and can also be found travelling the high seas, specially commissioned by P&O Liners. As part of a South London studio collective, Susie is very active in the printmaking community and has been Chair of Greenwich Printmakers, as well as teaching at the LCP .
